This is a group for aspiring songwriters in the Triangle area of North Carolina. The goal is to offer a supportive environment for trying out new songs, a place for discussing songwriting technique, and socializing with other songwriters.
Motto: It's hard to write a song like Bob Dylan but not so hard to write one like Deep Purple ("Smoke on the water, fire in the sky" over and over).
Group Rules/Understandings:
All songs are owned by the person who began writing the song, no matter how much assistance other group members provide to him or her. If two or more group members agree beforehand to collaborate on a song, ownership is divided equally. All group members agree to respect the ownership rights of other group members in their songs.
